A Wild Time in the Jungle

The children at Soar Childcare ltd in Bishop's Stortford had a fantastic time turning their learning space into a jungle. They cut out leaves, made seed pods, and painted animals to create a wonderful Jungle space. Each child's learning was differentitated for the activites. For example, older children cut out their own leaves, and plants while younger children tore shapes into the paper. After creating the jungle, they used drama techniques to explore their new environment and go on a rhyming alligator hunt. The children made their own banana "snake" snack and made their own jungle music using instruments. It was a jungletastic day for the children and the childminders at Soar Childcare in Bishop's Stortford.
